Overview
Beyond Booking, Inc. is a community-driven, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization registered in the State of New York that is dedicated to the discovery, development, and promotion of new contemporary music and digital creativity in New York, prioritizing the work of LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and female-identifying artists and ensuring their sustained creative and professional well-being.
Beyond Booking’s 20-year history demonstrates our vision, values, and passion for contemporary music as both a rewarding career and path to collective healing and liberation, continuing the history of marginalized urban music and subcultures that emerged in NYC’s intersecting queer and BIPOC communities. Their programs are rooted in the spirit and history of marginalized urban music and subcultures that emerged in 1980s New York, rooted in intersecting LGBTQ+, Black and Latinx communities.
